About Us
Plowshares
Coffee House is a non-profit, no smoking, no alcohol
venue
located in a 200 year old Quaker meeting house,
Schuylkill Friends Meeting,
at the corner of Route 23 and Whitehorse Road in
Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.
We hold one concert per month, roughly, in an all
acoustic format. Our building
seats 100, and we have a handicapped accessible
restroom. We serve coffee,
tea and soft drinks, along with desserts, (and the
occasional bowl of “Beautiful
Soup” on really cold nights).
Our concerts start at 8:00 pm with the opening act.
Headliners go on following
that. We try to have local openers paired with nationally
known musicians, but
we have also headlined up-and-coming musicians.
Plowshares
Coffee House presents:
David Jacobs-Strain in concert, with Bethany Yarrow
and Rufus Cappadocia
Saturday,
April 30 at 8:00 pm.
Donation at the door is $15.00 and will benefit
Plowshares Coffee House's sponsor, Schuylkill Friends
Meeting.
Plowshares
